AGENDA
The topics for this meeting bring to closure a series of projects requesting funding. A subgroup of the CITI is meeting to discuss and make recommendations on funding for the full set of projects, including those below, that have been discussed over the academic year. They are meeting several times in the month of May and will be reporting on their work at the June CITI.
- IDRE Data Center in the CNSI. (Roberto Peccei, 40 minutes)
Objective: To provide information on the need for funding the build-out of a new campus data center in the CNSI.
Background Materials: Materials will be presented at the meeting.
- Repositioning IT/TIER - a report on the next generation network design criteria and funding principles and a summary of the projects that are seeking TIF-TIER funding. (Marsha Smith, 60 minutes)
Objective: Input on the funding principles, next generation network design criteria, and the alignment of the projects with these principles and criteria.
Background Materials: TIER proposal 2006-2007
- The Common Collaborative Learning Environment (CCLE) Project (Jim Davis, 20 minutes).
Objective: To provide information on the planning effort underway for this major academic system and the implications for short to long-term organizational structure and funding requirements.
